Other Papers and Outputs
The HEED project will be producing a series of academic papers and other outputs over its lifetime to communicate the findings of the research.
Featuring one of our interns, Tomasz Prabucki, this video demonstrates sensor-based monitoring, which is recording the temperature, usage and fuelling patterns of cook stove. In gathering data on cook stoves this will inform discussions on ways to improve the design of ICSs to reflect the lived practices of refugee and IDP communities.
This video shows how the HEED project is recording data to improve the design and outputs of solar street lightening. By comparing pedestrian footfall before and after the additional of solar street lights to allows data to identify the potential for greater community and commercial activities after dark.
In this video, our HEED project intern, Akshay Pillai, discusses sensor-based monitoring systems on solar lanterns and how the data collected will improve the design of mobile solar lanterns to meet the energy needs and aspirations the refugees and internally displaced people.
